Fleshmind

Important Note!
This event has nothing to do with the actual AI of the station and the fact that it spawns should not be an excuse to call an AI rouge or Malf.

Fleshmind is an AI controlled random event where a rouge AI core spawns with one simple mission: spread and assimilate all.

Once a Fleshmind core has spawned on the station it will try to grow as large and as powerful as it can. The event is almost entirely AI controlled, all the mobs, turrets and even the spread of the flesh around the station is controlled by the AI. The one thing it does not control however is you, the player. Players can also be consumed by the flesh and play an integral role in fighting off the crew and focusing the resources of the flesh in battle. Conversion to being part of the flesh is done entirely by Mechivers, they will consume you and assimilate you to become part of the flesh. Mechivers are generally tanky with a large health-pool and should be prioritized as targets to prevent more people from being converted. Besides the Mechiver the flesh has a large variety of hostile mobs in its repertoire, everything from melee to ranged enemies and suicide bombing nightmares to haunt you and ease the process assimilation. A full list of all mobs can be found further down in this article. The flesh also posses a variety of structures that can help with the assimilation. Structures range from simple lights to lethal turrets to make the life of Attackers hell. A complete list of all structures can be found further down in the article.
