{{Notice|1= This event has nothing to do with the actual [[AI]] of the station and the fact that it spawns should not be an excuse to call an AI rouge or Malf.}}
Fleshmind is an AI controlled random event where a rouge AI core spawns with one simple mission: spread and assimilate all.

Once a Fleshmind core has spawned on the station it will try to grow as large and as powerful as it can. The event is ''almost'' entirely AI controlled, all the mobs, turrets and even the spread of the flesh around the station is controlled by the AI. The one thing it does not control however is you, the player. Players can also be consumed by the flesh and play an integral role in fighting off the crew and focusing the resources of the flesh in battle. Conversion to being part of the flesh is done entirely by Mechivers, they will consume you and assimilate you to become part of the flesh. Mechivers are generally tanky with a large health-pool and should be prioritized as targets to prevent more people from being converted. Besides the Mechiver the flesh has a large variety of hostile mobs in its repertoire, everything from melee to ranged enemies and suicide bombing nightmares to haunt you and ease the process assimilation. A full list of all mobs can be found further down in this article. The flesh also posses a variety of structures that can help with the assimilation. Structures range from simple lights to lethal turrets to make the life of [[Security Officer|Attackers]] hell. A complete list of all structures can be found further down in the article.
==The Flesh and you==
As a player who has been consumed by the flesh you have a few options available to you to help progress the fight and assimilation of the station.

When converted three new action buttons will have appeared in your UI. Each has their own function that will be detailed Below:

Skyrat is an 18+ community and we have this application process in place to first and foremost, filter out underage players for obvious reasons and secondly to filter out trouble makers that could ruin the role-play environment of the server. Its a relatively short but needed process and will only take up to twenty minutes if done and filled out properly (Your application will be denied if its low effort or quality. Though staff is happy to assist by answering any questions you may have). It is highly recommended that you are not ''too'' brief with your answers to the questions you will be posed, write a bit and balance the amount of words you have per question nicely.

Rules on Skyrat are regularly updated and temporary measures/rulings are posted on numerous occasions. The server rules themselves and the extensive list of docs can be found in '''#server-rules''' on the discord while rulings on certain topics and issues can be found in their own channels: '''#established-rulings''' and '''#placeholder-rulings''' the latter of the two is used for issues that need staff intervention and have to do with newly discovered issues or exploits in the game.

Step 0, Welcome!

As you may have noticed Skyrat is a whitelisted 18+ community. So you may ask yourself; how do I get in?

To join and get whitelisted all you have to do is follow the simple steps shown below here and you'll be in, in no time!

Step 1, Your application

The very first thing you should do to begin your journey of getting whitelisted is joining the discord.
The discord has all the essentials, rules and necessary information you will need to submit your application for getting whitelisted. At first you will only have access to a few channels, these channels are the following:

  • #server-info: Has a collection of links and other resources with details about the server, github and Wiki among other things.
  • #community-rules: Has all the rules that apply to the discord and OOC behavior on the server.
  • #server-rules: Has all the rules and guidelines that govern IC behavior on the server, be sure to give some of these a good read since they will be important to your application!
  • #access-requests: Is the channel where you will first be greeted by the bot and then told where you can go to fill out your application. (Staff will not reply to this channel unless the bot gets full)
  • #application-instruction: Has all the information and instructions you will need to fill out a nice and proper application. Give this one a good read and follow the presented instructions!

It is highly recommended that you are not too brief with your answers to the questions you will be posed, write a bit and balance the amount of words you have per question nicely.

A document you Must read before joining is the New player introduction packet. This google doc covers all the basics of our rules and has a small list of additional reading material listed at the top to help you understand the rules.

!!Some additional documents you should read before you join or get into Skyrat are the following:!!

The channels you can see on the discord will be heavily restricted and limited until your application has been accepted.
